CWM used to help him at some of his comps, I'd like to think they are cooking together again. Rod was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet, he will be sorely missed. -RP

Dennis, I sure wish I had had the honor of meeting Rod. I've heard so many wonderful things about the man.
I am so sorry for the loss suffered by his many friends and family. -
He did at one or two as I recall. Got a call for ribs too if I remember right.
I talked to Rod about our dismal chicken in OKC. He gave me some ideas. A couple years later and a few tweaks and we nailed 1st in Chicken last October.
Mike and Rod were the two guys I called when we did a competition to say how we did........
-
I ate a piece of that chicken in that pic. We had been talking about competition chicken that morning and he ran a piece over to me to make sure I would taste it. -RP
-
My sincere condolences to his family and friends...though I never met him, I know through posts on the forum he was a great guy, loved by many. God's peace to all.
