Nice family, thanks for posting them as it is fun to see who you talk with on the forum.
Question: is that cheese in the middle of the loaf?
Also next time try it w/o the bowl so all sides get the crust.
Very good looking meat loaf...Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
Nice pics! Care to share your recipe? Looks like it is layered with some interesting things.

I agree about the bowl, have never used one or a pan but I do let my loaf set up in fridge for a few hours to overnight.
Cheers,

Ah meatloaf my favorite meal, but i have to ask is that a layer of velveeta i see in there? I have never thought about cheese in a meatloaf but it would be kind of genius.

The bacon is not chopped it should be on the bottom of the pyrex and on top of the meat loaf, covering it, we did not had bacon this time...
Enjoy!!! -
It's also in my favorite meals...
It is chihuahua cheese, but velveta will do in the middle, it is cheese...and it is a nice twist...
hope you try it and share with us your experience -
Lobicho, I use Chihuahua cheese for my enchiladas, etc. Can I substitute queso fresco? Is there much difference in the taste? The queso fresco costs much less. Just wondering.

you can use any type of chesse that melts...
the good thing about meatloaf is that you can mix in there whatever you want...
there are no mistakes in meat loaf...
If you dont like it try a diferent cheese...
I have done it with chihuaha, asadero and gouda... always gooooooooood!!!
