Finally decided to use the sample pack of Dizzy Pig Raging River rub that I got with my LBGE a year ago and make the Maple / Butter Salmon recipe. I have purchased several other rubs from DP but was waiting to buy the Raging River until I tried this recipe. After doing so, I don't know why I waited so long. I think the flavor of that salmon was one of the best I have ever had. I will definitely pick up a thing of Raging River and do this more often.

By the way, the claim on the recipe is true! My wife does not like Salmon and she wanted more after her first filet! Of course I told her NO, as the plan was to take the 3rd filet to work for lunch today! guess she will have to wait for round 2 of this recipe.

Looks mighty good. I had the DP salmon tonight as well. Always a family favorite.
  • That looks great. My wife wont even consider salmon, so I have to eat it when we go out or when she is out of town. Just by chance she will gone tomorrow night, so I know what will be on my plate foe dinner! Thanks for sharing

Perfect job on the cooking of the salmon!! Absolutely spot on. Glad the Missuz decided to give it a try. Sounds like you have a convert on your hands!

  • Had the Tsunami Spin salmon last night. It came out great. I haven't tried the raging river yet but that is next. I want to give the raging river maple a try.

  • Looks Great Goody! I was just looking at that recipe card (came with my new small addition) and thinking that needs to be on the agenda. Bought some salmon from Costco over the weekend so can see it in the near future. Nice cook!

Brave man telling her no. Of course she is liable to tell you no on some other occasion and remind you of this one
