Ceramic Grill Store custom Woo Ring. So many cool toys fit the Eggs...Some just need a little help. Thanks Tom.

Made to fit standard BGE grid.

Very nice, Darian--I think I have one of Tom's earlier designs. The top hoop is not the same as what you've got in the pic.

That CI grate is something else!

    Shot with a Canon, I suppose?...Hope you're well!

    Without question:
    Food is outstanding
    Photos are outstanding
    Tom’s Woo is outstanding
But the question is what is that black felt looking stuff on top of the opening of your egg? I don't think I have that
Salado TX Egg Family: 2 Large and a very well used Mini, just added a Mini Max (I'm good for now).

  • Very cool cast iron grate. Wonder if I could get one for my mini?

Thank you Mike. All is good down here. Yea, Canon point and shoot. It was getting a little dark.
We have the standard Woo as well for our other small.
Lora has claimed it so Tom made me a custom one.
Tom used the flat bar so both the BGE and the Weber grids would work.
If you come up with an idea Tom will bring it to life.
Take care and see you soon.
    Thank you,

Cooking on Lora's new Egg last night. No high temp cooks yet to burn gaskets. Funny.
Picked you up another little toy for Salado this weekend as well.
    Thank you,

The Weber one will not fit the Mini but Lynx Grills make a SS insert for the Power Burner gas grill that will fit the Mini. It's very cool. I have it in an old style Mini Woo but it works best sitting on the fire ring.

    love that grid system!
    ·
  • That is really nice, Darian.
    ·
  • Darian, with that cast iron grid you don't even need to turn your steaks for the diamond grill mark patterns.

I'm addicted to Tom's toys as well. I can't even think about egging without them. :)

Mind me asking where and how much the CI grate is? I'd like to pick one up.
    ·
  • Pardon my ignorance but who is Tom and is there a website or catalog for some of these fine items?

This is made by Weber. Very well built piece of cast iron.
It will fit on the top of the Small BGE fire ring.
