So I dug one out of the back of the freezer the other day. Trimmed it all up and removed the tendon, you know, the one you could tow a semi with :S
then tossed it in a marinade of olive oil, soy and assorted spices for a couple hours
400° direct and pulled at 115, rested then sliced
sliced up the veggies while the wok heated,, hey bill there's mushrooms in there
got everything happy before tossing on the meat with a little extra soy
ended up with a nice little pile of goodies
and served over some washed out rice I know my photography sucks.
Guess I could almost call this comfort food, it really hit the spot.

Gosh Pat, I thought your fame was just on the consumers side at fests...but this is something else some of the best I've seen on the forum....did you actually cook it yourself??? :P
-
Jay, thats one I got from Little Chef at the mini fest back in september and forgot about. Nice little prize to find in the back of the freezer
-
thanks Aaron, nice simple cook
-
hanger is very similar to a skirt steak. great for fajitas or stirfry just a pain to dress out
-
I had Steven come down and cook it for me
gonna take 3 days to clean the mess -

Henny Youngman:
I said to my wife, 'Where do you want to go for our anniversary?' She said, 'I want to go somewhere I've never been before.' I said, 'Try the kitchen.'
Bob Hope: When I wake up in the morning, I don’t feel anything until noon, and then it’s time for my nap -
  we actually topped the 80° mark today and I think I got a little sunburn working outside.
-
Same here Loco, I have quite a few butchers close but none carry hangers. Little Chef brought a couple up for me back in September and this one got buried in the back of the freezer.
-
I don't think I would have made it to the wok stage...that meat looks great.
It took me a few years, but I finally found a reliable supplier for hangers.
All the best.

Michael, can you keep a secret? A good 1/2 pound didn't

You're my hero!

Pat,
Man do I need a wok. looks great, pal. -
Adam, that wok and woo3 came from TJV, ceramic grill store. You can't get much easier than a wok cook and you know me I'm all about the easy :P
-
Me too. Just dug some out of my freezer as well. Planning on some red wine and shallots with time and rosemary to bath them in. Maybe some oil and balsamic vinegar. Monday's dinner.

Wow, you really can cook. I thought you were faking it all this time. It looks so good, Pat. Wendy is lucky!Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!
