Thanks Marc this was great.
Zippy posted this on the Dizzy Pig site and a chicken lemon pasta dinner sounded good tonight. Man cannot live with chicken alone so to satisfy another urge I whipped up a little french onion soup.
most of the raws
had to get the good cheese or I would have been beaten out of south philly
first got the soup going by carmelizing 4 large sweet onions then added a beef stock and let it simmer for a couple hours
thats a 5 qt. DO
lookin good
6 b/s chick thighs at 400 indirect while these were cooking I got the zest and juice of 3 lemons with evoo mixture together. sorry Marc I couldn't find the green one like you had. down here they call them limes
topped the soup with boars head provolone,, this soup was great
Then tossed the pasta and chicken. Very filling dinner

The soup looked amazing, and maybe simple enough for a newbie? Would you mind sharing a bit more of the recipe?Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.
-
I can't make it. Very disappointed.

Pat, looks great, glad to see you have all the ingredients there. By the way, I saw John's Roast Pork on the Travel Channel the other day. I caught it 1/2 way through & I'm not sure if it was a re-run or a new episode, have you seen it? If memory serves, Andrew Zimern was stuffing either a cheesesteak or roast pork sandwich into his neckhappy in the hut
West Chester Pennsylvania -
