I haven't done a BC Chicken in about four years and thought I might do one today. Can't remember if direct or indirect, I am leaning to indirect but could be persuaded otherwise.

If your stand will allow it try the bird legs up. I use a pan to catch drippings. I don't bother with the beer.

I always do mine indrect, around 400 for a little over an hour.
