having a bunch of friends over later. These are the most ribs I've made at once on the large. God I love this thing. I count this month as the two year anniversary of the egg changing my life, lol!

If you don't use foil under the top ribs, the dripping from the top will baste the lower rack...I think this makes them even better

You are absolutely correct! You can't see it in this pic, but I punched a ton of 1" wide slots in the foil before putting on the upper deck of ribs. I'll probably sauce these guys in about another hour.

Thank you...I now have ham hocks smoking to use in some beans and greens we will be making tomorrow
If you have never smoked your own ham hock, you are missing out on some good stuff
Get fresh hocks and smoke about 3 hours....much better that the commercial smoked hocks -
