Here is the pictorial of last night's TREX Dinner that I promised.[p]It went really well. It took my egg nearly 30 minutes to get down to 400, and after resting 30 minutes, I cooked it about 4 minutes per side. It was closer to Medium than medium rare, but it was REALLY good and juicy. Next time, I'll probably do it about 2.5 minutes per side.[p]That's a big steak!
This is just a simple rub made from Cayenne, Black Pepper, Garlic powder, and Kosher salt. [p]Nicely charred on the first side.
Always eat grilled Jalapenos with Steak!
