2nd Annual Mini Frozen Fest!

To all the upper midwest eggers. If you haven't seen or heard of the Mini Frozen Fest (aka ice fest) we are tearing it up again this year. THIS WEEKEND and still have room for a few more peeps. The venue is Boyd Lodge in Crosslake, Minnesota. They give us a great group rate and the cabins are eggstremely nice. Some locals will be arriving mid afternoon Friday (tomorrow) and I'll be showing up with our outa-towners early evening. Al's got the shirts handled and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again.

So don't be shy. It's gonna be a sunny, warm, wonderful weekend in Eggland.

I wish I was in town this weekend to meet everyone and join in the festivities. It was 26 below (actual temperature) on my way to work this morning here in Crosslake, but the highs are forecasted in the mid to upper 30s for Saturday and Sunday.

I'll look forward to the pictures.

Great idea, Kim! I've been thinking of trying to convince tarrantin tank (regional supplier) to move the NewEggland fest from NH to Burlington!

Lake Champlain and all we have to offer is beautiful in the summer!

Julie maybe we can all go to icefest next year! We measured... Should allow for minimum square footage necessary for the chunky man and the mini! Mark says we will have to purchase a dog-crane to get him in the boat! :woohoo:

I'm bringing the 3 of your rubs that I have (thanks again for those by the way) but we don't have loney up here. My farmer friend that also raises pigs says they send all the shiz down south. :laugh:

I most definately will NOT forget the shine.

I've been fighting the urge to take these jars of yumyums and stuffing them in my belly.

You guys are nutz, btw. I haven't cooked on my large (on the patio) in weeks, literally. All on the fireplace mini. Too cold and too much snow! Maybe with enough beer?

Coming from the really low temps we just went through, 30's will feel great. We don't need our New Mexico friends eggsperiencing 20-30 below zero temps. Might just scare'em right away.

Wifey, Mike and his wife are running in the Mardi Gras Half Marathon on Sunday. My birthday is Saturday and we have 8-10 people dining and partying Friday night at "The Redfish Grill" on Bourbon Street.
