  • There have been some Eggheads who smoked their own salt. Don't recall who but when I looked up a recipe for it I read where the smoke flavor dissipates after a while.

    Very interesting article. Makes me want salt on my margarita tonight.

  • I've resisted getting wrapped up in salts as I know I'd spend every last penny on them that wasn't already going to the Egg. This article draws me that much closer to my saline doom!

    I bought my EGG in May, prior to then I only had normal Morton's Iodized Salt. Now I have Kosher, Sea, and regualar table salt (which I now rarely use). I have spent more $$ on this than I care to recall, but have enjoyed it alot, and would do it all again. Hummmmm...wonder if salt will be part of my new obsession?...I think YES! Thanks Kim for adding to my obsession! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
