Rather than a cake for my son’s birthday party, I made a 4 pound milk chocolate peanut butter cup. Start with some of this:
Add some of this (a finer Kentucky vodka you cannot find at $7.99 a liter :ermm:  ):
Assemble the ingredients:
Then the other ingredients:
Melt some chocolate in a 10 inch pie tin:
Mix the confectioners sugar & peanut butter:
Top off with the remaining melted chocolate:
All done:
Edit: some cracked into shots
Go ahead & whack down another bloody, & have a great weekend

hahahaha me too, love Reese's more than anything; my wife picked up a one pound package of Reese's for my son, two 1/2 pound cups, he loved them, took him about 2 weeks to work his way though them. This one puts those to shame   :laugh:happy in the hut

There is just one word that can express my thoughts on that. Awesome. I want.

Good looking cookie/pie/cake...............Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -

Neils Birthday is in April and I am so stealing this for his cake!! that man can look at a bag off PB cups and it is GONE! and then the little papers are everywhere or he puts them back in the basket with the cups to hide the fact that he ate them all

No better bloody mary mix than Zing Zang

Nicely done.
Vodka is pretty funny, zip. We had a cheap distillery in Londonderry NH that made stuff that cost (in the 1980s) about 7.99 a fifth. Their name was Jenkins, and they made a Jenkins brand vodka for that price. Their off OFF brand vodka was 'Zhenka' with a faux Russian label like yours. It was 2.99 a fifth and smelled like rubbing alcohol.
My dad opened my dorm fridge one day and the only thing in it was that and a bottle of tang.
My head still hurts to this day
Nice looking peanut butter cup. Is that the 'cake' for the family to each have a piece, or is it a present for him alone?ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
My daughter's got a birthday coming up. She saw this and said I want that instead of cheesecake. (She first chose cheesecake over birthday cake.)
If I'm not making my own bloody mix, I use Zing Zang, the best store bought mix out there. I prefer a Texas-made vodka though;

Zippy, I like the idea of adding the protein in the form of peanut butter to the chocolate to make a healthy and balanced meal, topped off by the vegetable drink!!!! Didn't know you were such a granoloa bar.
-
I never do that Julie.
-
Zippy I love this idea! Would you mind to post amounts, cook time, etc (all the details) b/c I really want to make this for a super bowl party.
Thanks for posting! -
Tammie, it's really easy & no cooking necessary. Start with a 10 inch pie tin & put about 1/2 a bag (11oz bag) of milk chocolate chips in then pop in the oven on the lowest setting for maybe 10 minutes, then spread the chocolate around & up the sides, pop in the fridge to harden. For the center, I mixed one pound of confectioners sugar with one 28oz jar of peanut butter with the kitchen aid until well incorported. Scoop it into the tin (it's kind of stiff, so I put plastic wrap on top & sort of hand worked it into shape). Then just pour on more melted chocolate spreading around to cover everything - into the fridge for a little while & that's it. It's about the easiest thing in the world to make & really good if you're a Reese's freak. The really cool thin is that this entire 4lb cup only cost about $7.00 to make
between this & my $7 vodka i'm a pretty cheap date :laugh:happy in the hut

Very cool
My wife is going to flip when I make this for her
Thanks for the post

I'm not proud of this, but when I went to college (freshman year), I arrived with my clothes, toothbrush, comb, radio, box of pencils, & a case of 1/2 gallons of Nikolai. I was partial at that time to mixing it either with pineapple juice or lemon koolaid (though when going the lemon route we also added grain & gin, you know, for a balanced approach); it was a massacre of brain cells
the cake v. cup is an outstanding issue, party is actually tonight thus the lack of cut-into pictures. Wife finds it odd to serve a giant reese's cup to the family coming & thinks a 'real' cake is in order
I have trouble with these institutionshappy in the hut

gotta agree, for the price Tito's is the best stuff out there. holds its own against Goose or Belvedere for half the price.
