thanks to JL for the fajita pan,, i am getting tired of all the snow so i whimped and cooked inside. the one snow pic is my sidewalk after the plows came by. 9 inches of snow fell but 15-27 on the sidewalk

Ever been ON the sidewalk when they do that? I was cleaning the neighbor's path when they plowed me under. Snowblower stalled and I was stuck. Took me about 20 minutes to get out, so frustrating. But I'm sure they had a good laugh
Food looks great -
You could lose that dog!! Need to get a colorful pup with all that snow!

Neat pix, thx. What kind of dog is that? My best bud has a dog that looks exactly like that, just a shade darker brown. Stay warm!LBGE, platesetter, Stoker wifi, StokerX Mac software, Pit Pal for iOS, @HerringBigEgg on Twitter, joined forum in 2008Austin, TX

Hey bill, Great fajita pan. What a bunch of snow and all over the sidewalk. Are you going to get a kid to shovel you out? May be pay him a few bucks. All I see in the last pic is snow. Ha ha

i got a 26 yr old weight lifter, he does the hand shoveling.. but he went into work and i was home ..
we get anymore snow and i am going to spray paint a blaze orange streak down the back of the dog -
My mom is PA dutch. Grew up in and around Reading and York, now lives in Chicago. She'd be drooling, if she could saw these pics, I'm certain.
We grew up with stuff like potato cakes, but scrapple isn't exactly common out here in the midwest. She introduced us to scrapple several years ago, on a trip to visit family in York. It ain't bad. I think I'd prefer a standard sausage link or patty, but variety is nice, and scrapple would be a good alternative, if it was readily available. -
You know, I got to thinking about it .....it's a good thing you cooked that stuff indoors. I would never desecrate my egg cooking scrapple.
You may call me a snob, bue personally, after having lived in Cincinnati, I wouldn't even begin to place goetta in the same category as scrapple. It would be considered a delicacy compared to scrapple.   -
as far as potato cakes,.. basically what ever friday nights starch was got fried up on saturday morning ,, un sauced spagetti, potato or rice ,, lump of butter and the cast iron fry pan which i still have . i kicked it up a nothch.. i now have a fajita pan perfect size . i may need an instant replay for lunch.
