Proud new egg owner!

Hello everyone...Just checking in here. I picked up my first egg last night off Craigslist. It's an older model but in eggcelent shape

It was a steal for $280 !!!! Can't wait to learn the ancient art of the egg. First project will be to build a sweet table for it. I've got a buddy with a granite shop that's already promised me a hunk of granite for the top. Can't wait!!

I like it in the nest and a moveable table like from Sams for $100 in ss.

I do have a BGE table on wheels for my large. I also, have a second large in a nest that I keep on the other end of my table. It works great for me.

You may want to consider placing your egg in a nest with a handler attached to it. Then build a table on wheels to sit beside it. Just a thought. Tim

Yup, been there since getting back from lunch.....Haven't been very productive this afternoon I must admit :unsure: There are some amazing tables there.....I'm leaning toward TNW's table at the moment. Just can't decide which side to make my working space (open) to the right or to the left of the egg....Looks like most folks have the egg on the right and the open area on the left. I'm assuming the greater majority of folks are righties (like me) so I'm guessing that the natural pattern is to work from the right to the left. Any thoughts???
(I admit, I'm probably over-thinking it)

My table is ambidextrous ha ha.

It has no back side so I can turn it either way.

I have 2 tables, this one has the open area on the right, with a marble top.

The other table has the open area on the left. I am right handed and the marble topped one pictured seems easier to work with.
