Fall off the bone ribs....forgive me

I've had ribs the same way for a long time and now would like to mix it up a bit and because it's winter I think I can get away with some comfort food ribs, that is, fall off the bone ribs. So the plan is a longer foil stage. Sauce on the side, heated in a bowl.
I need to eat something during the Packer-Bear face off. :woohoo: Fighting cabin fever, it was -3 this morning but the sun is out and it's a great day for cookin on the eggs.
Here is a pic of some fall off the bone spares so you get the general idea of where I'm going.
Please forgive me.

I agree.....Nothing better than fall off the bone ribs. Guess I wouldn't make a good judge. They look perfect. May have to change my dinner and diet plans.
-
Very nice lookin ribs. Gonna make some today myselfLarge & MiniMax in Lexington, KY

Clay, when you get 'there', be sure and post some pics of the ribs and the snow.
I can already tell this is going to be a successful journey. -
I have upgraded my opinion of fall off the bone tender ribs. My last batch of baby backs came out that way and my first opinion was that they were overcooked. It's a little annoying to bite into a tasty rib and get all the meat at once. I finally had one of those ever so simple revelations that makes you go "DUUUU!" and ate them with a knife and fork! The bones lift out with no effort and I am left with pure goodness! LOL, the cleanest ribs I have ever eaten!
I still prefer my ribs so I can pick them up and eat them as God intended but at least now if I overcook them I enjoy them a lot more. It's one of those simple things.
The games is probably going to be a roust and your ribs will be the highlight of the night! :silly:
Have a great game,
Blair

They look awesome! Well done. I just got some baby backs on the Egg myself - fairly simple dry rub, sauce at the end - and they should be ready for the start of the 2nd football game today!
-
I've yet to meet a rib I didn't like - yours look tasty.
-
Look good to me. I like them both ways. I don't care what a judge thinks is good. As long as I like it.
-
Those look fantastic!!I love the color and am sure the flavor was great!

All is forgiven...I hope you acheived the results you were hoping for. When I think about -3 I simply cannot imagine how bitterly cold it must be. Anything below 20 is just too cold for me.
