any tips to cleaning the gasket?

Dripped some pulled pork onto the gasket as I was pulling it last night, any ideas on how to remove it without damage to the gasket? Only had the egg for about 6 cooks now. New issue for me. ;)
I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.
Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

    Yeah, that. The gasket will be toast in a few more cooks anyway. :)

    I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
