Brisket - Part II
Goody
Posts: 102
Had not done brisket in a long time. Did it once soon after I got the egg last Feb and had not tried it sense. Decided to do it again for some friends I was having over for the Heisman Trophy Presentation a month ago. Just now getting around to posting it since I have been busy and have not felt like wrestling with Photobucket lately. Has anyone else noticed since they reformatted the page it seems slower and more temperamental?
Anyway, cook turned out good and everyone liked it.

Great smoke ring. Like you I haven't done a brisket in a long time. Yours looks great. :P

That looks outstanding. Looks like you had just the right amount of smoke.

I was just battling photobucket tonight, the adds kept locking up IE on me for some reason only on the photobucket page.
Brisket looks good - one of these days I'll try one of those -
Yes, I think it is something with the video ad as well. When I stopped it today after stalling after 1 picture of several, Mac OS gave me an error message that there was an issue with the ad. Not really sure I understand why and do not think it is Mac compatibility issue since I did not experience this issue the 1st 6 months of posting pics.
The add runs, it loads one photo of a series and then stops. The only way I have been able to get things to upload is one at a time. That is an annoyingly slow process. Today I did finally see there is a link when you go to download that says it is a mass loader for multiple pictures. However the way it interfaces with your computer, at least my Mac, on that method is much slower to locate and select the photos. At least once you get them selected it does not get locked up.
Is there another more efficient web based program to use that is compatible with the forum? -
Honestly, now that you mention it I can't remember. It has ben a month since his cook. I thought it was a whole as I bought it at Sam's. However now that I look back at the pictures it looks more like a flat. Maybe it is a whole since that is mostly what Sam's sell in the large packages and the point on this one is just not well defined.
