I know that if I was where two of my kids are (Alabama) I wouldn't have any issues with finding it, but I'm in the SF Bay Area. Anyone have any ideas as to where I should start to look for some bellys to make me some bacon?

Tofu not but Edamame is pretty good. I love fresh produce. Grow a bunch of my own and have tons of farms a little bit south. Stop and get stuff all the time.

I actually thoroghly enjoy both.

I was a veg for a few years....shhhhh!!! :ohmy:

Edamame, simmered with some Braggs Liquid Aminos (an awesome soy sauce like product) in the water...omg good!!

There is a small market here that smokes it's own meats, and I can get belly there. Also a meat packer where I got my caul fat.
