My guy will package up whatever you want with the cool packs. I'll ship it.

Thanks Bill. I never thought to wrap them like that to cook them. I will try that next. I just S&P and lay it flat.
-
Would you sear it or just cook till 125 or so?
-
my guess is if you sear it top and bottom and a bit on the sides it would be close to done,, i like rare so 110 in the center with a rest would be happy. you can sear and then cook till the temp of your choice ,..
anxious to see your pics

only thing i don't get is wanting to try 6oz of frozen chicken?

Some of the guys that I sent over there bought it. They said it was real good. I liked the idea for something quick. I have a job I have to work tomorrow that I bring my lunch. I knocked out one piece and cooked it on the mini. Easy protein lunch.
-
I will cook it over the weekend and post. Thanks for the idea.

but is it different than buying chix breasts and freezin them yerself? are they marinated or prepped (stuffed?)

I think he brine's them. Just convenient. They are trimmed and froze up in the tray. I didn't see what I paid for them. I think it was 2.50 or 3.29 a lb. something like that. No super reason other than simple and an excuse to get the other stuff.

sure must be rough living in metro area with meat market and fresh seafood
Al, you ought to make a surprise appearance in Salado :woohoo: -
Industry calls this tray pack chicken? Better suggestion would be Costco Kirkland Signature sized IQF fillets. Cook from frozen, price and end result will be much better.
