Merry Christmas everyone. I'm so thankful to have found the Egghead forum and all my forum friends. This will be my third Christmas turkey since finding the "Egg". I'm cooking my largest ever on the BGE a fresh 24+ lbs'er. I did a trial fit of the bird yesterday and there are no problems. My setup is full load of lump to the top and the fire ring, apple wood for smoke mixed in then inverted plate setter with grill. I follow the Mad Max recipe to the Tee.
