Small green eggs on Ebay $200

I requested the sellers info from ebay and just spoke to the seller. She said the eggs are being driven in from Austin and will be available for pickup tomorrow morning and that she has physically seen them. She also said if me or anyone else want their money back to send her an email or call her and she will gladly refund the money. If you bought one you can request the sellers information through ebay or email me and I will give you her number. She also said she has owned an XL egg for several years. I know people will say anything but for what its worth she is responding to emails and answering her phone.

I don't have a horse in this race, but did she give any explanation how she happened to acquire that many, why they are being sold for a loss and why free shipping?

She said something that sounded like B/S. Something about selling them for her brother in law and just needing to get rid of them. One of the weirdest things to me if this is a scam is the seller was selling 2 things. They sold 7 copies of turbo tax. Then posted (2) 24 lots of turbo tax, then 8 eggs, then 7 eggs. Its just weird to me they would be scamming with $40 copies of turbo tax.

If you purchase with paypal aren't you protected? My old man sells stuff on ebay and every once in a while people claim things are broke or whatever or that they didn't receive them and they reverse the payment or whatever through paypal and there really isn't much my old man can do. He did send the item and they are packed perfectly. I think he's being hosed most of the time that happens.

To me that's a big plus. It may not have the BGE warranty, but I think you've done enough checking and have enough precautions in place that it's worth a shot. Let us know. I still think some store in Austin went belly up with those in inventory.

Seller had responded yesterday that she would let me know when eggs showed up in Dallas from Austin, but never heard back - second email was kind of blown off. Not surprising, as it sounded like folks were calling and getting good response.

Did anyone in Dallas see the eggs today, or any new news? I am off tomorrow if opportunity (and interest from buyers) still exists out there for me to take a quick drive over to Grand Prairie and look at the eggs.....

Dave, the phone number lists as a cell phone in G.P. as does my HOME phone number. Whoever tried to trace the phone number reached a site that defaults to G.P. and charges you 14 bucks to get the real location.
