Hello,
I used to read every post on the forum when I first got my egg to try to learn as much as I could, which was no small undertaking especially during the spring and summer when there were a large number of daily posts. Anyway since returning to the States from an overseas work assignment, I have not had much time to sit down and be an active participant. I think I would be more active if I could more easily read posts during my commute. So to get to the point...
Does anyone know of an iPhone/iPad app that lets you download websites for offline reading that will also let automatically download one level of links under the page you monitor?
Alternatively, does anyone know how to get an RSS feed of the forum? If one is not available, does anyone know if there are plans to add such a feature?
Thanks for your help!

I made a bookmark of the site and put it on the main screen on my iphone. It automatically logs me in when I touch the icon. I have the iphone 4, not sure how the older versions work..

I access the forum from my Blackberry by using the internet app. Easy peasy

boston_stoker,
I have no experience with these, but here's what I found:
Instapaper and Read It Later have very high reviews on the App Store feedback.
Mixed reviews for the following but I *think* they let you drill down a level (?):
Offline Pages
Skyfire Web Browser
Good luck in your search. Wish I could be more helpful. -
I am interested to see if any other blackberry users have another technique. I don't have much success using the internet app to view the forum.

I use Opera Mini for my Blackberry. It is much better than RIM's browser most of the time. You can get it here: m.opera.com.
As far as reading the forum on my Blackberry, my issue is more speed and more importantly squinting on the tiny screen.
I was hoping to read offline on iPad. -

asked Santa for an IPad, but he wants to wait until all the new clones come out :S
Also hears IPad will be updated shortly -- will see :side:
Until then, as Spring Hen pointed out to me just the other day, I'd better find those glasses -

:woohoo:
what have you heard about it vs the clones?
:ermm: -
Nothing. All the new features on IPad 2 are speculation.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

It will be made by Apple. The "clones" will not. Nuff said.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

to what ARE you refering?? -
Once you go Mac, you never ever go back... period.
And if needed, you can always install VMWare on the Mac and then install XP to the virtual machine.... i.e., you can run XP under Mac OSX if need be. Works great. -
I have a newer bold and it always says the entity is too large.XL Walled Lake, MI

If you download Opera using the link I posted earlier in this thread that will get you past the entity is too large error.

I am sure the clones are probably made in the same factory in china.

I have the first Iphone that came out. I have been getting the forum since I signed on. I use Safari. It came with the phone. You have to enlarge the screen and it is best to turn it on its side.
