    Maybe I'm a geek for kitchen gadgets but I think it's a cool idea. The guys that developed that product are responsible for the sous vide machines used on Iron Chef and Top Chef, as well as a lot of other innovative machines. A redundant product to have if you own an Egg? Absolutely. More expensive than a soldering iron and a tin can? Yes, but I know it has it's place in a lot of restaurants.
