Thermapen Burgers

My new Thermapen arrived. :woohoo:
Thank you Mollyshark.
Had a craving for burgers, had to work late and when I got to the butcher, he was gone along with all the 80/20.
I was able to grab a pork/veal mix and some lean beef. So we went with that.

I thought these would just taste like a meatball burger, but the flavours were amazing. I blame the Egg :laugh:

Great pictures!

I am sure everyone is going to laugh at me over this: I have had my Thermopen for over a year (love it) but did not realize until I saw your picture that it does not have to be opened all the way. Opening it to just a right angle makes more sense most of the time for sticking food. For some reason I have always opened mine all the way. I suppose it is because there is a few second delay and that is just about the time it takes to open all the way.

Yes, I can be that stupid at times!

Why does it look like the Thermapen is missing some lines on the digits? Is it just the angle??
