I just ordered the Christmas Rig Combo for my Large BGE. Can't wait for it to arrive. Once again this forum was invaluable in helping me decide between a number of different options by providing the information I needed. I rarely post, but am an almost daily reader.

Doing boneless chicken breasts tonight on the Egg.

What is this Christmas rig combo you speak of?
  • I already have a place setter so I can do indirect and I have a temporary DIY set up for searing close to the lump, but I now have another method for indirect, have given some permanency to the searing, and I've addressed what was a concern with the BGE, namely the cooking capacity.

Yes, I'm hooked and loving it. :)
  • Dale, it's a combination package of items from the Ceramic Grill Store whereby I was able to get a discount compared with purchasing everything individually. They have a few different packages. Their website is Ceramicgrillstore.com and the veterans around here speak very highly of their products and the owner.
  • You will not be disappointed in your new toys. I use my AR all the time even when I don't need extra capacity. It is really handy for getting food up in the dome. Allows you to cook chicken direct without flare ups. You get crispy but not burned skin.

Let us know what you think after the toys arrive. Have fun.

It took me some time to find a direct link so I thought I would help others out a bit:
