Little Steven's Satay

Just finished dining on some eggcellent chicken satays, using Little Steven's recipe from the forum cookbook. Wow, that sure is a winner, one to go in the favorites section of the cookbook. Had to modify the recipe slightly due forgetting to buy some ginger, and didn't use any brown sugar, along with a couple other changes. The marinade went great over the rice. Sorry about no pix; too busy cooking and eating to take pictures. Attaboy, Little Steven. Uglydog

uglydog,
Cheers! I don't use the brown sugar anymore either but substitute Thai chili sauce. Don't know how to modify the recipe though.

LOL, when it comes to recipes, I always treat them like the line from Pirates of the Caribbean:
"And thirdly, the code is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules."
I'll have to try Little Steven's Satay soon, it sounds delicious.Knoxville, TN
