KennyG, I just finished the article, and "WOW" that lady has a grip on it. She outlined the real meaning of BBQ very nicely. Quite a gal.
If you do meet her, show her the virtues of starting her fire and getting the inner dome hot and the draft going up the chimney..That was the only flaw I found...Yah,,I am picky, picky..heeeee. Oooops...!!

Hey, appreciate your advice about getting the fire going and such. Actually, I'm pretty facil at that with the Egg, but editors kind of print and recall the "story" often quite differently than what you tell them. There were several things in that story not worded correctly, for sure, but my goal was to get the BGE some notoriety on the 'que scene. Thanks for reading and commenting, though. Thanks for the kind words. I've been working on that article and on dessert recipes for the Egg so haven't surfaced much! So nice to have support from such a talented bunch. Miss you guys. Going trout fishing this weekend and taking the mini. We're trying to mimic your cool scene of catching fish, and cooking it lake-side right there, Earl.
