This was my first brined turkey and first BGE turkey, too. I went with Max Max (gravy too) and it was great. Here is the link to the brine I used. Two of my guests were in the restaurant business. Both said they had never had better turkey.

Just a couple of years ago I started adding cloves to some of my brines, they are much more subtle than I expected.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery
