I have never done a fattie. I am interested in doing one that I could serve tonight and again tomorrow night kind of like a summer sausage. If I have the wrong impression of a fattie, will it keep to serve again in 24 hours?

Does anyone have a simple recipe?
I have some dizzy pig and BB rubs plus a homemade butt rub I could possibly use.

Any help would be appreciated!

A good one for me is JD hot breakfast sausage stuffed with sliced bell peppers and cheese, dusted with your favorite rub and cooked indirect to 160. I'll make several at a time, store in the fridge and just cut a few slices off in the morning (or afternoon, or evening or sometimes sleepwalking)

Here is a fattie cook I did a while back. I will say I love making up a fattie and slicing them up and freezing them for later. I love them with a bisket. :P

Thanks for the information... I live in West Tennessee also a Titans fan. I came to the Eagles game. Hope that is not the last win of the year!

hinsongolf, In my opnion the Titans are in need of a mature quarter back but, don't get me wrong I like Kerry Collins. I just think the Titans are lacking in that area. Tim
