Gathered some Pheasants in western North Dakota. Truly one of my favorite places on earth.

Pheasant, Neuburg, Ripnem
You sold me on the idea. The freezer is awful full of Roodies at my place. *****Try this sometime:
INGREDIENTS:
Cream of mushroom soup
Cream of chicken soup
green olives
mushrooms (in a jar)
bacon(BB is best)
peperocinis
hot sauce
heavy whipping cream
buncha bird cooked and shredded (not chopped)
PROCEDURE:
1 Cook the bird and bacon and then combine it all in DO or crock pot and let simmer for a couple hours. It can be served over any starch, but my favorite is over eggs and hashbrowns.
2 quantities are based on how much bird used and it has always been a "wing-it" type of recipe, that will knock your socks off.

What a hunt!!!
I love pheasant. Mom used to cost it in seasoned flour, brown it in a skillet and then slow cook it with the lid on the pan.
She used the pan drippings for a fantastic gravy. YUM! -
Wow Adam! That's a nice job with the Pheasant! Congratulations, I'm sure the girls are more then happy to get out and do a little work.

Adam, it would appear that there are no longer any pheasant left in North Dakota.
I counted somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 pheasants.
You and your girls did good!
I'll await some pheasant cooks. -
DAMMITBOY!!! We may have to rename it PheasantFest '11!!!
-
Used to love Pheasant from my grandfathers farm. Who Al Qaedaed the deer?
-
The guy holding it shot that deer at 376 yards at a full on run.
-
Dude, you wouldn't believe it out there. definitely saw over a thousand birds. Also saw the major part of the migration on the drive home. Gonna hafta see if I can get on some of that this weekend if they are still around.
