Any way to modify "Flat View"?

I love this place, but it drives me nuts. "Classic View" requires constant clicking to follow a conversation...which isn't bad when you have a lightning fast connection, but I don't (satellite, 'cause I'm in the boonies). "Flat View" requires a lot less navigating, but the responses are sequential, so you have no idea whom the post is responding to. Isn't there some way that you guys could put flat view into a threaded configuration?

    Yeah, Vbulletin. Ain't gonna happen. Maybe if enough people complained... but that ain't gonna happen either!

    Food's great, members are great. Forum software sucks.
