why the noodle are drying here instead of between two chairs ??
the neighbor is an avid fisherman.. we call him gort [the gorton's fisherman]it helps that he is 9 feet tall like gort from 'the day the earth stood still'
he brough me fresh striper yesterday, did some research and soaked in ice water with lemin and salt for a few hours and removed all the red
grilled on the large at 400 served over the noodles with the browned butter sauce.
plated pix are always bad as by the time dinner is ready [and i am properly medicated] there is no sunlight left..

i have been wanting to make homemade for the last week ,, don't know why,,,, as far as ratios... michael ruhlmans "ratio" is a great book and i meant to credit him in my post,, but little steven is a bad influence and happy hour made me forget..
i refer to 'ratio' often.. it is a book worth having -
thank you.... credit where it is due.. zippylip inspired me to the homemade noodles last winter.. micheal ruhlmans 'ratio' is a great resource and it is little stevens fault that the plated pix were poor.. :laugh:

In my neck of the woods, we call that Rockfish. . Aint nothing better than fresh Rock on the egg. Try some Raging River on it. Catch it in the morning and egg in the evening.
The charter captain I have using for years on the Chesapeake Bay for is a recent egghead as well.
