Time to clean burn egg???

Getting some reminant funky fish-like smells in egg, mixed with a little chicken fat. Have never done a clean burn of egg, pretty gummy looking inside at this point.

How often are folks doing a clean burn, and how much lump are you burning? This will be my first in more than a year of use.

I anticipate opening it up wide (mine hits 650 to 700 pretty readily) and letting it burn until it burns no more....
