My Oktoberfest meal.

Finely did my Oktoberfest cook yesterday....Toni had the day off and I didn't have to work until 1400, so it was a good day to enjoy some good cooking.
Did marinaded, smoked pork chops and apple chutney with sides of red cabbage and spaetzel
Sorry, no "during the cook" pics, but it was nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. Did indirect at 400 F. with Hickory smoke-wood and just a drip pan of Chutney under the chops.....
Soooo...Just the ready to eat pic!!

No...I did the spaetzel on the stove in the kithen.
Actually had some trouble with it, as I tried a mesh this go-round (I've cut it before) and found it too sticky...just wouldn't go through!
The cabbage was started on the Egg, then finished (kept warm) in the kitchen when I put the chops and chutney on. Just one more reason to have more then one EGG ! -
You'll just have to have faith and trust!!
I know, I know....I really need to get better about pictures -
For sure buddy......
But, I had to go to work or I would have had something!
We are blessed with imports and even a local brewery (Schells)that would have complamented the meal VERY well :woohoo: :woohoo:
