Is Cowboy good lump and is 11.99 a good price for a 20 pound bag?

that's a fair price, its 7 for 10 lbs at lowes. not a bad lump from my limited experience. I thought it had too many nails and rocks, but, I find that in Royal Oak from GFS also,XL Walled Lake, MI

It burns cleanly. It doesn't last as long as many other brands of lump, so one would use more on a low and slow. There are a fair amount of fines in the bag.

I have no personal experience with Cowboy Lump, ut I've heard that lots of people don't care for it. If you have a Kroger near you, try their Kroger Lump, which is Royal Oak. It's less than $6 for 8.8 lb.
