Tom, it was great meeting you and Joan again. Thanks for sharing the photos. We had a family get together yesterday so it was like partying three days in a row. Haven't gotten around to work on my photos yet.

Steve, I got the marinade Friday night and that photo caught Judy Foodie's attention and brought her and hubby to the fest! I definitely got a shot of the long lineup for your amazing butter chicken and goat (what's the name of that?) dish, not sure if I took a closeup shot though. Damn, I couldn't believe I missed out on so many fabulous dishes...should have stuck to my original plan of signing up as volunteer photographer and forget my lousy cooks On the other hand, it was a pleasure cooking with Nina/Kevin.

Hey Mike,
It was great meeting you two as well. It was a great learning experience and we managed to spin out some good food.

Hey Molly,
It was great meeting you -- I even picke3d up some pointers from your Egging 101 class. No need to worry about that spoon -- it was a cheap dollar store acquisition so that I would not do any damage to my non-stick paella pan. Unfortunately, the very same heat that did the damage to the cheap spoon created some havoc in the pan  . Thankfully, my primary paella pan is a steel one that stayed safely here in Ottawa  .

Hope to see you again some time!

Gary:
i didn't get much food, but I did have the salmon you handed out. I thought it was great.
Michael -
OH - and your food during the after party was amazing...
I had the smoked salmon cream cheese and some smoked cheeze.
They were all very good!
Michael -
Michael,
You mean those nuisance glitches on the Friday night? Those were just all part of the learning curve. Saturday was great and that is what counts.

Thanks Michael, your rye dough wrapped pork shoulder and after party jerk chicken were great.
Garycanuckland -
Kudos to the wives for the after party jerk chicken. They cooked.
I was busy doing something else - drinking maybe. I think!
Ha! Ha!
