Replacement Gasket

The felt gasket on my extra large BGE has came loose and has shrunk so it no longer fits completly around the rim. Are the gaskets covered by the warranty ? If I get a new gasket from BGE (either under warranty or purchase) will it be a Nomex gasket ? I don't want to go through the trouble of replacing it with another felt gasket.

    Options
    Email customer service @ BGE and request the nonadhesive nomex replacement gasket. Be sure to preshrink it on high heat in dryer for 20-30 minutes.

    When mine failed I emailed the mothership and they sent me a nomex. I did have to buy the adhesive, but still better than buying the gasket. ;)
