I do understand the necessity for the drink mixes but there does need to be at least one 'loney' chub in the cooler somewhere. ;) What would a be fest be without at least one?  Someday I'll make one!! Ya'll have fun. Mike
  • "Oh you think you could spare a bloody for me?"

Actually, I have no idea what I'm doing. Planning on adding dark rum and ice to the mixture. On one of the peach batches I added pina colada mix also.

I can make grouper puree also!
  • Richard, that would be great! I'm going to do a few Korean short ribs. BTW, do you know where I can get Korean cut shortribs in Melbourne? Can I get Thai basil? Anyone have a rice cooker?

Can't wait to see you! :)

John, we have 32 rooms so maybe about 60 plus a few local eggers stopping by but remember like last year almost everyone will be cooking. anything you need that will help you without having to pack it just let me know.

How much kim chi? I have a 2 cup and 10 cup rice cooker. What kind of rice you wish? Jasmine, sushi, basmati? How much basil you need? quart ziploc be enough?? will pick in garden. Pat may be able to get Ken the butcher to help on the meat??
  • FlaPoolmanFlaPoolman Posts: 11,675
Only 1?? I'll have to make sure it's a really big glass B) and I did pickup some plastic wine glasses
  • egretegret Posts: 4,107
Appreciate that, Pat! I've been looking, and looking, for a griddle that will fit on a 2 burner Coleman gas stove. No luck so far.......I'm gonna do some sourdough pancakes one morning and it would be a big help to be able to do these at least two at a time!!! Yeah, I know, it's not on the BGE, but, being practical is sometimes best!!

Rebecca, will those large beef ribs work? Pettys always has them

They label these as short ribs but they are taller than Steve
  • FlaPoolmanFlaPoolman Posts: 11,675
Let me know what size and I'll look around
  • I think I'll pass Al........ :S
  • I thought I told you lowercasebill wasn't coming to the minifest. You can return the plastic wine glasses!
  • Pat, do you think they can use a saw and cut them perpendicular to that cut if I order ahead of time?
    (those look yummy!)

20" on the length and 11"-12" on the width would be ideal. It needs to have a flat surface.
  • Egret: Got you covered with your pancakes. B) Can't wait to see you both! Going to be a great weekend!
  • Pat: See my post to Egret.

Sure or we can ask the Green Turtle to do them exactly exactly how you want. The chef did ask if there was anything they could do to help. Let me know the specs or you could just call and talk to him yourself,, mention that your with the egghead group.
