Here we go.....day 2. cook and tenderloin steak. here are the ribs, second BGE light and some more savory pics.

Nice looking rack , Is it just me or does the band bolt look straight? Make sure to tighten the band bolts till they bend when the egg cools down. Keep up the good work!

should I add more lump? I'm at a steady 250. I was under the impression that a full load of lump would last a long time.

Hey Joe,
I'd say full load is referring to at least up to top of fire box....but you can go higher into the fire ring for super long low and slow cooks.
Are you just doing that rack of ribs? You be fine at 250 or higher with whats in there....given it burns evenly. -

The higher temp. for the steaks would burn the lump sooner. You'll be fine with the Rack.
