Good topic to test posting photos ...

What better thing to do on vacation then cook chocolate chip cookies? This recipe is a modified version (no nuts) from Wolfgang Puck -Adventures in the Kitchen.

The cookies:

Since the BGE was still hot, decided to make supper also (Spaghetti Sauce)

Ingredients (cookies):
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 oz unsalted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon warm water
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
[ol]
[li]Sift together flour and salt. Set aside.
[li]In electric mixer, cream the butter until light and fluffy. On low speed, gradually add brown and white sugars. Increase speed until well combined.
[li]In a cup or small bowl, dissolve the baking soda in warm water and pour into mixture. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until blended. Add Chocolate chip and then the flour - mix well.
[li]Turn out in a bowl, wrap in plastic wrap and chill until firm.
[li]Shape the dough into equal balls and place on non-stick, BGE ready sheet.
[li]Cook at 350F until tops begin to brown. Remove and let cool.
[/li]
[/ol]
12 servings

Looks outstanding and you couldn't have picked a better pair of photos for completing your "photo test" skills.

Hopefully there was something to go with the spaghetti sauce?

That's for sure, it's déjà vu all over again.
