...and I came home from work to this. My wife has never cooked on it. She surprised me by slicing up some tomatoes from the garden and cooked these App's all by herself, no coaching or advice from me. I was proud of her, because she doesn't like to cook. The only thing I did was light the coal and stabalized the temp. She did the rest:
Added a little basil paste
Little mozzarella cheeeeese
On the Egg
All done and very delicious. Nothing better than fresh tomatoes. Could have cooked a little longer, but I kept my mouth shut and let her do everything. Now if I could get her to cook ribs or a brisket, I would have it made

OK and did you do the dishes? It is only fair....Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Ya know, I offer every night to do the dishes and she insist that she does them. She says I don't clean them good enough. I wonder if this is planned on my behalf? So, to answer your question, no.

hi rich sounds like your wife needs a mini and you need a dishwasher but the food looks great !
-
Sounds to me like she should do that more often. Next time leave some meat in the fridge that needs to be cooked! She is almost there!Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Yes, indeed

At this pace, it will be another five years before her next cook. Nevertheless, I think I might keep her.
-
Rick, I could have used that Mini. Now I'm in the market for a Small :ermm:

Yep my wife started off never wanting to touch the BGE..now she is cooking full meals several times a week... it sure is nice. :P

Beautiful, insalata with summer tomatoes and basil like that is one of the finer dishes.
