to those of you that know me, and know that I have been laid off for a little over a year, I have a request.

I have finally gotten a job and I am nervous as heck. PLEASE say a prayer, have a moment of silence, send ur Zen, think good thoughts, channel Karma my way, and anything else you can think of. Hopefully this is a long term position. Wish me luck. :woohoo:

Congrats. Call me in 5 years and I'll give you mine.
  • Congrats. I have always lived as a glass half full not half empty person. Hopefully the position is what you want and long term and you will one day look back at your time off as a sabbatical you needed to collect your thoughts, rest and do things around the house that needed to be done and you won't regret anything during your transition.

the time I have been off has been a blessing in disguise. One can become complacent sometimes with their chosen profession. I may have ventured into that complacentcy. I also hope that this job is long term. Thanks for the kind words.
