Nice warm day here in Northern California for some kabobs
As JL would put it...the raws: Seasoned cut up Tri-tip, Pineapple w/Pineapple Head, potatoes, peppers and mushrooms
All skewered up, thanks to Smitty and his generousity for the cooks at the EBTB Fest, he provided us these skewers
Did I mention how warm it got here today?
On the BGE
resting after 20 minutes at 400
Ready to be history...this was by far the best kabobs to date. Serve with Jasmine rice
Man...it was hot today

Nice work...I did some BBQ this weekend as well...
I started off with a 15lb Boston Butt and put my own dry rub on and wrapped in cellophane.
I then tossed it on my Egg for the next 16 hours...the result:
And after a little 'pulling' (stuff fell right off the bone):
So freaking good. -
Yes I did and as usual, it was awesome. Weather was great, food was great and the people were great. You must make it next year. Too bad there's no Fest in Nashville

Unfortunately no. I have to go to Nashville the last week of October for our annual sales meeting and can't get the time off. Someday I will make it to Octoberfest. Might go to the Southern California Fest in September, but that is up in the air.
