Any marinade ideas for a Rib Eye Steak ?
I know Rib Eyes don't need to be marinaded, but I have a Meat Vacuum Machine and want to try it with Rib Eye Steaks
Thanks.
Gary.

I would save the marinade eggsperiment for a less eggspensive cut of meat, chuck roast for example, and cook the ribeye hot and fast with your favorite seasoning.

I have been using a product called "Dale's Sauce" for years on all things beef. It is a soy based merinade that comes in regular and low sodium varieties and is available in most supermarkets. I only marinate a ribeye 30-60 min, so I don't think it is a good prospect for your vacuum machine, try it on flank or some other tougher cut.
Be sure and let us know how it works out

Capt., I don't marinate my steaks but do use 'Dales' on other beef cuts, good stuff. It's out of Birmingham, AL so not sure how available it is in other areas of the country. Steaks, I just use a little EVOO and lemon pepper. I like the taste of beef in my steaks so don't try to cover it up much. Mike

I took the advice of Richard and just put on the Dizzy Pig Rub with Coffee. It was delicious. My wife's steak had Montreal Steak Seasoning. I guess I will marinate a skirt steak some time this week.
Enjoy the rest of your week end. -
I use dales sauce at times too and was out of it tonight so..What I did tonight: combined olive oil, soy sauce and DP raising the steaks...basically like Dale's sauce.. I just put a thin coat on both sides and not drench. Just adds a little kick without over powering the beef flavor...just an idea
