He forgot to mention he has to put his teeth/tooth IN first !

Typewriter style for me - left to right.
But my wife-now she is something else  She eats her randomly - not pattern at all - just a bite here, a bite, there until it's eventually finished - CRAZY !
 :woohoo:
I'm OCD and she is, well, No-CD. True ! -
typewriter style , no corn holders..
-
Typewriter. And if we aren't Egging the corn we steam it not boil it.
Can you imaging the number of man/woman hours we have wasted answering this question while rolling around on the floor doubled over with laughter?
Damn, I love this Forum!!! -
It's a combination of straight line and circle, makes for an interesting spiral.

Gotta get in my 2ct. Florida sweet corn is in and it is a really good crop
Circle on each end for a handle, then typewriter, napkin tucked into my shirt.
Have you tried it with DP Raging River or Pinapple Head :P :woohoo:

Make sure you count from the middle of the ear. I uderstand the ends may vary in the number of rows of kernels.

I sort of go for a little of both. I'll go around the cob, turning it, then eat a little horizontally, then back and forth. I love corn! To me I don't really care which way I eat it! I love it with hot sauce (lots) poured over the ear too.
We had a big old yellow cat who loved corn too. He'd put a foot on the cob then chew the corn off a couple of rows at a time until he had eaten the whole thing. Those little front teeth of a cat can gnaw the cob clean. He liked it with salt only, no butter. -
What an insane post! Corncobs, toilet paper, ovaries, typewriters, a single tooth? Huh? Anyway, Bonnie cuts it off the cob and I'm a circular guy.
-
Typewriter...as does the whole family, which is lots.

Just goes to show, Eggknowledgy is only a part of the vast array of information you can find on this great Forum.

Circles for me, typewriter for my wife.

I'm a typewriter kinda guy

It's gotta be fresh Jersey corn; no Pennsy stuff, no Florida stuff, just fresh Jersey sweet corn. Spread some brown mustard on it, sprinkle with Old Bay, and eat it typewriter style, always left to right. No corn holders allowed.
My sympathies to those who don't have access to fresh Jersey corn. Just imagine what it would be like to never have eaten Egged food.

Circles. Unless I'm famished, in which case I resort to typewriter.
Fang gave my mother a set of dishes to hold corn as well as a set of corn holders. We only brought them out when Fang was visiting. The last time we had corn with Fang, my mother could not find the gift corn paraphenalia.......busted. -
one more vote for circles.
(what a funny thread, lol!) -
We are typewrites and kernel strippers in this family.

Reading your entry was kinda like reading one of Stumpbaby's stories. That's a good thing. :P :P :P By the way, I eat it like a typewriter.

Yeah, I've heard that too. I'm sure you know that there is always an even number of rows around an ear of corn.

Well my fav way is to cut it off the cob, I hate burning the roof of my mouth :( but if I don't do that I am a typewriter..... Neil is too.

Thats the best answer yet Tom
Veggies are what food eats :woohoo: -
Max,
What is a typewriter? We are metric here so it's ten one way ten around ten the other way.

I would just like to point out that only Mad Max has the ability to start a thread over a diner time conversation and have it turn into this monster.

Wow that sounded an awful like a stike response...
When did you get your Mensa card? :woohoo:
