NewEgger, my New Nest, Question too!

I plan on buying a Large BGE this weekend... so over the last week I built a nest. While I wanted to buy the egg about two weeks ago I had to make sure it had a good "home." :P

Can anyone recommend a stone to place underneath? I have a piece of slate but its pretty small in size.

Just go to your friendly home center and buy a 16" paver, put the little egg feet on that and the egg on the feet. Put one directly under the hinge, the other two spaced evenly around the base, 12,4,& 8 positions, you are good to go
