Now that I know where to post my avatar, how do it get it sized correctly? Everything I try is too big and I get an error saying it has to be less the 70 pixels. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Go to your computer Start button, assuming you have windows, and click on run. Type mspaint and hit enter. Open the picture in Paint. I would then click save as, so you don't mess up the original. Then got to Image, Stretch/Skew. In the top to boxes enter an number less than 100, and that will shrink your pic.
  • If you want to be really clever download GIMP. It's open source photoshop. Pretty awesome.

I did mine in paint shop pro. I sized them first then strung them together in the animation shop. Then I resized using resolution, not the print size.

This is a link to an on-line picture re-sizing tool that has an option for re-sizing pictures specifically for avatars. Very easy to use. Just pick Make Avatar from the options on the left.
