I had some Spiced Rum Roast Pork that I had egged earlier in the year and froze in FoodSaver bags. I decided it would be nice in a Taco.
The fresh salsa is from Sam's and has a nice little heat to it. I had never tried the cheese before, I'm going back for more. The Tacos are low fat, low sugar . . . low everything but good. The bottle is Sonny's Sweet BBQ sauce.
First a little cheese . . .
. . . then a little Roast Pork . . .
. . . next a little salt, pepper and BBQ sauce . . .
. . . next a little fresh salsa . . .
. . . wrapped and sliced.
I apologize that there aren't any more photo's but from here on in it wasn't very pretty. I am happy to report that it was awesome!

[Love the graphics :silly:
YOU are so very talented, both with Egging and with Photography :woohoo:
When/where will you show up at an Eggfest so we can meet you in person????? -
Hi DOW, Thanks, the graphics are fun to play with. I don't know when I will get to an EggFest. At the moment they aren't in my budget. I could spend a whole year going to the Fest's just so I could meet all my friends here on the forum. I would love to get out west again someday (with my camera) and would love to combine that with a Fest. :cheer:

Sonny's sweet is all I use and unfortunately it aint available here..my parents stock me up every time they visit..that sauce takes it over the top if you like a sweet sauce...
-
I'm very fond of it too Wess but I have yet to get my hands on any Carnivore or Blues Hog so I am reserving judgment. Sam's carries it down here by the jug and it's one of the less expensive brands. I have been eating it at their restaurants for ever and a day.

Awesome!

Thanks Adam, it was when I finally got to eat it!

My parents get it from Sams as well..blues hog is a touch candier than Sonny's, if that makes sense.....you wouldn't believe what it would cost me to order Sonny's online from here...will be using Sonny's this weekend at Eggfest for my rib cook..

Yup, I think I can imagine what you mean about Blues Hog. Sounds like it might have more white sugar. One of the things that I like about Sonny's Sweet is that I don't think it has as much molasses as some and is not quit so dark and heavy as something like K.C. Masterpiece. I can sympathize with the cost of shipping anything these days and BBQ sauce isn't light weight. What ever you do, stay on your parents good side.

LOL, Thanks Molly, just having a little fun playing with my food.

LOL...once I made it past the age of 20 I think I was pretty safe as on their good side..before that they might beg to differ...love em to death today and the feeling is mutual..

I think I waited till I was about 26 and came to the same way of thinking with mine. They have been gone for years now but we parted best friends as it should be.

Thanks JL, I was feeling sort of bad that this wasn't exactly a new cook but a post about leftovers so I thought I would dress it up a little bit.
Your words are too kind, my diabetes keeps my diet restricted to mostly protien, I would love to be able to make pizza's, bake breads and pies and all sorts of goodies on the egg.
