<p />This is a cast iron griddle from Lodge, great for TRex steaks. A bent piece of flat stock is used as a handle only when it’s hot. (Handle was not made by Lawn Ranger). I left a “nub” of the original handle to have something on either side to grab if I wanted. If you take something like this to a welder make sure they preheat the parts before they weld them.

great tool. . .i have an old cast iron pizza pan with removable handles that i use for searing steaks in the egg. . .yours looks really nice as well. .
