Well first off I discovered that the cook pics were on my phone.. so no Egg shots LOL We loaded a 7.5 pound brisket on the egg at 1 am Thursday morning set the guru to 240 and went back to bed. We foiled it about 3:30pm and it came off at 4:30pm and into the oven to hold it. just wrapped the pan in a bath towel to keep it warm. I also discovered that I did not get any pics of Jeff or Darlene or their kids or his parents. we were busy eating LOL had a wonderful evening with them and he brought me a very nice present
just wrapped
sliced on my fancy cutting board from the Sunshine fest
Dixie is really hoping I drop a piece!
lunch today MMMMMMmmmmm........
and desert :P a cured duck breast with fresh melon and ice cold beer....
life is pretty dang good today

Thank you Mike and he was here...
I swear on my mini....... :S -
Is stike's new motto
"have duck - will travel" ?Re-gasketing America one yard at a time. -
Sorry Julie...you know the rules...no pics means it didn't happen...LOL...
-
Awesome looking brisket!!

I got a couple of pics of Jeff in New Hampshire and was paid handsomely to keep them under wraps. How much did you get Julie? or did he pull the old "run the magnet over the flash card" trick? LOL
-
I've seen hunters make throw rugs out of bear, but never a white....whatever that thing is
-
That brisket looks great .
How did you do it? What rub, any injection, any liquid when you foiled?
Any temp changes during the cook, or straight 240* all the way?
Thanks -
Stike does not show up in digital photographs.
The brisket looks better anyway. -
nor in mirrors...kinda spooky don'tchaknowRe-gasketing America one yard at a time.

I don't know how he does it........hahaha

I talked to 'stike' today and he said he was never there
He also said the brisket was the best he ever had, even with the special 'bath towel' flavor.
A great night with great food in a beautiful spot and beautiful people. Doesn't get any better.
At least that's what the ghost of 'stike' told me. -
Julie, remind me not to introduce Tucker to Dixie! At 100 pounds at 8 months now, I'm thinking he might think SHE is tasty brisket! LOL!
